EVE Online developer CCP Games has shut down its studio in San Francisco, and two executives have left the company.

Gamasutra reports that CCP's revenues for the first six months of this fiscal year were down slightly from the same time last year, but earnings before interest, taxes, and depreciation were down to $4.5 million from $8.3 million over the previous year's period.

CFO Joe Gallo and CMO Dave Reid have left CCP.

Earlier this year, CCP Games canceled World of Darkness and there were layoffs at the company's Atlanta studio.

Our Take:
Reid in particular was involved in the marketing for World of Darkness, so while it's unfortunate the he's leaving the company, hopefully the fallout from the game's cancelation is somewhat contained.
