Titanfall Free Again Via EA Origin ‘Game Time’ Program

by Mike Futter on Aug 22, 2014 at 05:05 AM

If you have yet to give Titanfall a try on PC, EA is giving you the perfect opportunity to take one of Respawn’s giant, walking tanks for a spin. You can grab the game now as a free download and play for 48 hours from the time you first boot it up.

EA is offering this through the Game Time program, which currently includes Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for 72 and 48 hours respectively. You can check out all the details on the Game Time webpage.

Our Take
We recently spoke with EA CEO Andrew Wilson, who discussed some of the company’s “gamer first” initiatives. Game Time is a win for both gamers (who get something to play for two days or more) and EA (which hopes to earn sales from those hooked by the experiences on offer). This is a good look for EA, which is working to change its image with consumers.
