The Evil Within Gets A Season Pass Covering Three Future DLC Add-Ons

by Kyle Hilliard on Aug 13, 2014 at 04:38 AM

Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami's upcoming The Evil Within is getting three DLC add-ons, and a season pass has been announced bundling them together at a discount.

The first of the planned DLC has players taking on the role of The Keeper (a.k.a. Boxman) – the lovely fellow you see above. You can also find a 3D model of Boxman you can rotate and move here. The second and third DLC episodes are story-driven with players playing as Juli Kidman – protagonist Sebastian Castellanos' mysterious partner from the game.

The season pass is $19.99 and the release dates for the DLC have not yet been announced. The Evil Within is coming to  PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 14. For more on the game, head here.

Our Take
It's nice to get a discount on DLC, but it's always a little disappointing to learn DLC is planned in advance, meaning we probably won't get the whole The Evil Within story on the disc that releases October 14.
