Microsoft and Iron Galaxy's revival of the classic Killer Instinct fighting franchise was an early standout of the Xbox One lineup, now the game with being released on disc with a little extra.
Today, Microsoft announced that a retail version of the previously download-only game entitled Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack will hit store shelves on September 23. It will retail for $19.99.
The game will include all the content and the eight fighters from Killer Instinct season one, and will also include a code for TJ Combo, a character from the upcoming season two. Season two of Killer Instinct will be released for Xbox One later this year.

Like many, I was surprised by how excellent the reboot of Killer Instinct was, and hopefully this will give gamers who missed it a chance to catch up before season two.
