Watch The Trailer For The E.T. Excavation Documentary
The once buried copies of Atari's E.T. have been dug up and dusted off. Now all that's left to do is make a documentary about them. Oh, that's done now too.
Watch the trailer, which examines how Atari went from be biggest new company in America and the leader of the video game industry to a company facing finical disaster that had to buried it’s biggest failure. Back in April a documentary crew unburied Atari's garbage, and their documentary Atari: Game Over releases exclusively on Xbox’s this fall.
Our Take
I have to admit that this looks pretty well done. Even though I'm already well versed in the story of E.T. and Atari, I actually want to see this film now.
