Slightly ahead of schedule, the Destiny beta is back online for PlayStation and online for the first time for Xbox.
The beta was originally supposed to be down for maintenance until tomorrow, but the gun has been jumped. For more on the beta, head here.
In an e-mail sent to beta participants, Bungie writes, "We know you've been waiting, so we've worked hard to finish our chores up early. You can download and play the Beta right now. Get in there. Break it. Tell us what you think. Share your experiences online."

Our Take
This is very exciting – and after Titanfall, appears to be becoming a trend. The Titanfall beta also ended up being available longer than originally expected. Hopefully Bungie takes another cue from Respawn and opens it up to everyone without the need for a beta code right near the end.
