Dance Central Spotlight Gets Moving On Xbox One This Fall

by Matthew Kato on Jul 21, 2014 at 04:24 AM

Harmonix has assigned a release date to its downloadable Kinect title for the Xbox One, Dance Central Spotlight.

The game is available on September 2 for $9.99 and comes with 10 songs. Over 50 will be ready to purchase on the day (no pricing given for individual songs or packs), with Harmonix promising timely delivery of additional songs in the future.

Additionally, if a song offered for Spotlight is one you've already purchased for a previous Dance Central title on Xbox 360, then you get that song for free in Spotlight.

Here are the 10 songs the game comes with:

  • Avicii – "Wake Me Up"
  • Cher Lloyd – "I Wish"
  • David Guetta ft. Sia – "Titanium"
  • Jason Derulo ft. 2 Chainz – "Talk Dirty"
  • Kid Ink ft. Chris Brown – "Show Me"
  • Lorde – "Royals"
  • OneRepublic – "Counting Stars"
  • Pharrell Williams – "Happy"
  • Rihanna – "Diamonds"
  • will.i.am ft. Justin Bieber – "#thatPOWER"

So far, these tracks have been confirmed to be available on release day:

  • Capital Cities – "Safe and Sound"
  • Emeli Sandé – "Next To Me"
  • Icona Pop ft. Charli XCX – "I Love It"
  • Lana Del Rey – "Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)"
  • The B-52's – "Love Shack"

Each song in Dance Central Spotlight has eight different dance routines, and the game comes with a dedicated fitness mode as well as a new way to practice.
