Fatal Frame is coming to Wii U… at least in Japan. While this new entry in the series hasn’t be confirmed for a North American or European release, that doesn’t stop us from admiring the trailer.
You’ll notice that the camera, a key element in the series, does make an appearance at the very end. Before that, we’re treated to a spooky walk through the woods at the night.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed that Nintendo decides to bring the title to Western shores. The title, which was first announced in April, will be out on September 27 in Japan.
Our Take
If I were a betting man, I'd project a Western release for Fatal Frame. Nintendo needs to use all the tools in its belt to keep Wii U momentum rolling.
