Defense Grid 2 Taking Pre-orders And Dishing Out Bonuses
The sequel to Hidden Path Entertainment's 2008 PC tower defense game will be getting a little brother this Fall, and players who pre-order the game via Steam will get some cool bonuses depending on how many people pre-order the title. How's that for an incentive to peer pressure your friends into buying a game?
Players who pre-purchase Defense Grid 2 will receive 10% off the price and gain immediate access to the beta (PC only). However, as more people pre-order, additional incentives unlock, including the original Defense Grid digital art book, a free copy of the Containment expansion to Defense Grid: The Awakening, and more. You can pre-order the game through Steam.
Our Take
I don't know much about Defense Grid 2, but the game looks cool. As a fan of tower defense titles, I'll have to give this one a shot. I know Mike Futter seemed to enjoy the game when he played it a PAX East.
