Cellar Door Games has announced that its popular 2D sidescroller Rogue Legacy will be coming to PlayStation consoles. Known for its unforgiving difficulty, the game has become a cult hit over the past year.

The PlayStation versions will feature cross-buy and cross-save between the Vita and console versions of the game. All features present in the previous releases will also be included, as well as some potential new undisclosed features.

The hyper-difficult platformer, jam-packed with roguelike elements, has you exploring randomly generated dungeons, fighting an assortment of difficult bosses, and features permadeath.

Rogue Legacy came out last year on PC, Mac, and Linux and will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita on July 29. Be sure to read our review of the challenging title.
