Saints Row IV Gets National Treasure Edition (No Nic Cage, Though)

by Mike Futter on Jun 24, 2014 at 11:21 AM

It is only now, 10 months after its release, that we realize just how much add-on content was released for Saints Row IV. Deep Silver is getting ready to release a complete edition called the National Treasure Edition.

The new collection includes the game and all 29 pieces of add-on content. This includes weapons, weapon costumes, outfits, vehicles, activities, super power elements, homies, and the Enter the Dominatrix and How the Saints Saved Christmas mission packs. Saints Row IV: National Treasure Edition will ship to retailers on July 8.

The game doesn’t seem to be street-dated, as Deep Silver says it should be on shelves by mid-July. This indicates that your local store will have it on the shelves just as soon as it arrives. It will also be available digitally. Both formats will retail for $29.99.

For more, you can read our review of the title from last year.

Our Take
I really enjoyed Saints Row IV, and if you haven’t yet had a chance to pick it up, hold off for this version. The value is worth it.

If you do already have a copy, the most important pieces of content here are the two mission packs, which can be yours for a bit less than the new $29.99 price on this bundle. Weapons and vehicles are cool, but you can cherry pick the ones you want the most as add-on content.
