by Kyle Hilliard on Jun 18, 2014 at 02:19 PM

Update: Kojima's tweet (which posted yesterday) implied this morning would showcase the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay demo, but new details from Konami reveal the gameplay demo will air early tomorrow morning.

According to Konami, the live demo will stream on online here tomorrow, June 19 at 3 a.m. PT/6 a.m. ET. Because of the early morning stream, Konami has pledged to get the planned 30-minute demo up on YouTube and Facebook as quickly as possible. Hopefully, by the time you wake up tomorrow, it will be waiting for you.

For more on the gameplay demo that will be shown, and head here.

Original story:

Metal Gear Solid mastermind Hideo Kojima recently tweeted for fans to expect to see some Phantom Pain gameplay online tomorrow.

Kojima tweeted that tomorrow at 7 p.m. JPT (which is 7 a.m. EST) a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay demo will be presented here, at Kojima Station. The demo will be approximately 30 minutes long and will be the equivalent to what was shown at E3.

We had a chance to see the gameplay demo at E3, and we wrote about it here.

Our Take
If you're at all interested in Metal Gear Solid, I would recommend setting an alarm clock to check out the demo. If it's equivalent to what we were shown at E3, some very cool (and weird) things are shown off.
