Rumor: Nintendo To Reveal New 3DS Title Mario Maker At E3

A leaked photograph that allegedly shows Nintendo’s E3 booth appears to show a graphic for a new Mario game.

The leaked photo was published on Nintendo Enthusiast. As you can see, it looks very much like a camera phone shot of Nintendo’s E3 booth. As you can see, theres’ a graphic that says, “Mario Maker.” Below is a shot of a hand “drawing” on a Mario-esque 2D platforming level. Perhaps this is a new game that allows users to create their own Mario-style game levels? We’ll know soon enough.

Our Take:
Yes, it’s a leaked shot and strictly unconfirmed at this point. Still, it looks pretty convincing to me. I love the idea of some sort of interactive creation game – the 3DS’s stylus could make this a game creation tool that even more intuitive than what we saw in LittleBigPlanet.
