An Exploration Of The Principles Of Character Animation

During the early year's of animation, Walt Disney animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston drafted 12 basic animation principles to help bring drawn characters to life. While this list was dreamed up in the 1930s, it is still remarkably relevant to today's video game industry.

Cento Lodigiani uses a simple cube to explain Thomas and Johnston's 12 basic animation principles in the following video. Most of these principles are still used in modern video games today. Can you think of any examples?
