E.T. Papercraft Lands Right In Your Heart (And You Can Make It By Hand)

by Mike Futter on May 09, 2014 at 06:52 AM

E.T. has been in the news quite a bit lately. The remains of his Atari 2600 failure were recently dug up in a New Mexico landfill. If you didn’t manage to get one of those unearthed treasures (or simply want a slightly less smelly tribute), this papercraft might be what you’re looking for.

The plans for this adorable pixelated tribute to Atari’s E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial are available on creator Tubbypaws’ website. It’s a fairly complex design and requires patience. If you managed to get E.T. out of that hole even once, you probably have all the patience required, though.

For more on E.T., check out our coverage of the landfill excavation. Be sure to also check out more papercraft and design work at Tubbypaws.
