[Update] Driveclub’s PlayStation Plus And Full-Priced Versions Detailed
Update: Sony has changed its mind about tying the $50 upgrade access to PlayStation Plus membership. Game director Paul Rustchynsky shared the update via Twitter.

Way back in 2013, we started learning more about how PlayStation Plus members would benefit on PS4. One of the first two titles was supposed to be a slimmed down version of Driveclub, but a delay prevented that from happening. Sony will be making good on that promise, though.
The PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub will come with one location (India), eleven tracks, and ten cars. You’ll have access to all the modes, too.
If you pick up the disc-based or full digital version, you’ll get five locations, fifty-five tracks, fifty cars, and fifty tour events. You can also upgrade to the full version from the PlayStation Plus edition for $49.99, but there’s a catch.
If you ever drop your PS Plus membership, you won’t be able to access the game at all. For an extra $10, you’ll have unlimited access, even if your membership lapses.
