Android users with a desire to save the globe from extraterrestrial invaders are in luck. The official XCOM Twitter has confirmed the game is coming to Android devices.

Publisher 2K Games released an iOS version of the turn-based sci-fi game last year, which was met with strong sales. The official XCOM tweet didn't confirm a release date, but hopefully we'll learn more soon.

Our Take
XCOM: Enemy Unkown was my personal Game of the Year for 2012, and I'm thrilled that more folks will be able to check it out.
