Titanfall For Xbox 360 Won't Be Available On Games On Demand

Titanfall has finally released for Xbox 360 – and it's good! However, EA has confirmed that it won't be coming to Xbox Live's Games on Demand as a downloadable title.

The statement released on EA's official site reads:

"After extensive testing, we felt that it simply did not represent the true Titanfall experience and it was decided not to release a Games on Demand version. As we never officially announced that Titanfall would be available via Games on Demand and the option to purchase it that way should have never been offered. We hope players understand this decision was all about quality and making sure you get the best Titanfall experience."

Titanfall (in disc form) is available in stores now. Despite being released after the Xbox One and PC versions, Game Informer's Matt Miller was impressed with the quality of the port in his review of the game.

Our Take:
If, as the statement suggests, this decision was made for quality-of-experience reasons, I'm 100 percent fine with it. No matter what format or system you play Titanfall on, it's a great game.
