Reader Discussion: What's Your Favorite Remake?

If they haven't been remade, then your favorite game has probably gotten an HD re-release. What's your favorite?

Do you prefer just a straight HD port of a game, like the Jak & Daxter Trilogy HD or The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD? Or do you like complete remakes like Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes or Resident Evil on GameCube?

I like the Ocarina of Time remake for 3DS, and I also like being able to revisit Ico and Shadow of the Colossus recently with better frame-rates and better textures. It took those games to their full potential, without sacrificing or remaking any of the content.
