by Kyle Hilliard on Mar 25, 2014 at 04:13 AM

After amassing more than 3 million registered players during its beta, Smite has officially launched, and with it comes a cinematic trailer and a tournament.

Smite, the free-to-play MOBA which casts players in the roles of assorted mythological gods, begins its $200,000 tournament on Friday, March 28, and concludes on March 30. It will feature the top four European teams and the top four North American teams, and will be streamed online on twitch.tv/smitegame, with all competing for their share of the $200,000 pot.
