Developer Zen Studios is bringing a number of its titles to new-generation consoles later this year, including Pinball FX2. Other titles from Zen Studios, CastleStorm: Definitive Edition, and Kickbeat: Special Edition will be coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Pinball FX 2 is releasing exclusively for Microsoft's next-gen console.

CastleStorm: Definitive Edition will include all the content of the original game as well as that of the game's expansions, plus new battles, modes, and spells, all running at 1080p and 60 frames per second on next-gen hardware. Kung-fu rhythm game Kickbeat, released last year on the PlayStation 3 and Vita, will also be getting some new content for it's next-gen release in the form of additional soundtracks and a music analyzer that lets players create new tracks from their music libraries.

For Pinball FX2, Zen Studios is bringing its collection of themed tables such as the Marvel table pictured above and others to Xbox One. Zen has teased that it's received the rights to make tables out of new, unannounced IPs, and that the new tables will be arriving on the Xbox One version of the game later this year.

Our Take:
If you are a fan of pinball then the news that Pinball FX2 is coming to Xbox One, alongside the tease of more tables, is definitely exciting. Even if you aren't into pinball, more games to play on your next-gen hardware in 1080p is always a win.
