Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels Now Available On Wii U Virtual Console
The game deemed too hard for North America, is now available on the Wii U's Virtual Console.
The game first saw release in the United States when it was updated to 16-bit graphics in Super Mario All Stars, but this original NES version did eventually come to the Wii's Virtual Console in 2007. Now the game is available for the Wii U's Virtual Console.

Nintendo is still missing a lot of opportunities with the Virtual Console. I would have loved to download Donkey Kong Country when Tropical Freeze came out, or Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island ahead of Yoshi's New Island releasing on Friday.
