Fan Created Site Counts Your Dark Souls Deaths

by Kyle Hilliard on Mar 09, 2014 at 10:30 AM

A site created by Dark Souls fans allows you upload your save file to see how many time you've died.

You can check out the site here. Unfortunately, the death counter only applies to PC save files, which makes sense considering it is difficult to pull your save files from Sony's and Microsoft's consoles. There is a message on the page directed to console players that reads, "You're s*** out of luck. Sorry!" However, there is a request to message the site creators if you have an idea of how to access the console versions' data, so it could be something coming to the site in the future.

The site is also compiling stats for players submitting data, which offers some interesting graphs.

Speaking of death and Dark Souls, check out our A Journal Of Death: Five Hours With Dark Souls II preview feature by heading here. Dark Souls II releases March 11 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and PC April 25.
