Microsoft Announces $500 Forza Xbox One Bundle For United States
You might have been too late to get the drop on the Titanfall bundle, but Microsoft has something else to sweeten the Xbox One pot. For a limited time, and starting soon, you can get Forza Motorsport 5 for free.
The Xbox One recently received a price drop in the UK, which is still paying more than North America when currency conversions are taken into account. The Forza bundle also follows a Titanfall bundle that also included a one-month Xbox Live membership.
The Forza bundle does not appear to include the courtesy month of Microsoft’s online service. The bundle will start appearing at retailers next week. For more on Microsoft's bundling strategy, you can read our recent analysis.

Our Take
Microsoft continues to sidestep angry early adopters by keeping the Xbox One price at launch levels. The free game increases the value you get for $499, certainly, but I would not expect any form of make-right from Microsoft for those who purchased a console in the first three months.
