Master Sword Art Prints Available In Color, Black And White

by Isaac Federspiel on Mar 06, 2014 at 10:35 AM

There are few weapons as iconic and memorable as The Legend of Zelda’s Master Sword. An artist going by Victor O has painted his favorite scene from the The Legend of Zelda series: putting the famous blade front and center.

The scene is from Link to the Past of the Master Sword in the Lost Woods. He started with pencil and canvas, and then inked in the dark areas with a Sharpie. His Imgur post includes an animated gif that serves as a time lapse of him then adding paint to the canvas.

The artist is also selling prints, titled Sword of Evil's Bane, on Society6 of both the final color version and the more minimal black and white, sharpie illustration. They’re starting at $20 and $18, respectively, for the smallest size print of 8” by 10” with larger prints available at an increased price.

Victor O is also running a promotion on Society6 offering $5 off each item and free shipping worldwide through March 9. If you're into fan-created art, you should check out another artist's take on a realistic Legend of Zelda.
