News

The good news is that Dark Souls II has a release date on PC. The bad news is that those of you hoping to play on that platform will be waiting an additional six and a half weeks.

Bandai Namco has locked in the PC version of Dark Souls II for April 25. According to the game’s Facebook page, From Software is using the additional time to perfect the adaptation for mouse and keyboard. The PC version will also include enhanced texture resolution and frame rate.

Dark Souls II will be out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 11. You can check out an unboxing of the collector’s edition here.

Our Take
It's a shame that PC fans will have to wait a little longer, but if it results in a better port than the first Dark Souls, it's worth the extra time.
