[Update] Gabe Newell Is Doing An AMA Right Now
Update #2: Yesterday's AMA was postponed, but you can jump in and participate right now. Newell has members of the Valve team with him, so ask all three of the questions that are on your mind here.
Update #1: The Reddit moderators are deleting every post in the AMA thread. This may be because Newell created the AMA too early and didn't follow formatting guidelines.
Original Story:
By now, we’ve probably heard every “Half-Life 3 Confirmed!” and “Valve can’t count to three” jokes. Well, we thought we had. Valve founder Gabe Newell is taking to Reddit for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on this, the third day of the third month.
Newell promised the AMA if The Heart of Racing, a charity in which he is involved, reached $500,000. The Heart of Racing is a charity dedicated to raising funds for pediatric cardiac care. The current campaign has reached the half-million dollar mark, and he’s making good.
The AMA will take place here at 4 pm Eastern. If something game-related doesn't come out of it, expect the parade of jokes to march down the Internet's main street.
