QuakeCon Premium Registration Will Be In Four Phases, Starts March 5
Bethesda is gearing up for this year’s QuakeCon with an announcement of four different premium attendance packages. The event will remain open to the public at no cost, but if you’re planning on bringing your own computer or want some limited edition items, you’ll want to read ahead.
Starting on March 5 at 8 pm Eastern, those that wish to participate in the bring your own computer (BYOC) event and would like express admission to panels and public events and limited reserved seating should plan to register.
The BYOC Select-a-Seat with QuakeCon done Quick package costs $175 and is limited to 250. It comes with a reserved, assigned seating in the BYOC area, QuakeCon BYOC t-shirt, lanyard, and limited edition signed and numbered prin.
On March 19 at 8 pm Eastern, the BYOC Select-a-Seat and Swag Pack package will open. This $150 package is limited to 500. It comes with reserved and assigned BYOC seating, t-shirt, BYOC t-shirt, two additional limited edition t-shirts, lanyard, poster and The Evil Within bag, QuakeCon branded Logitech G430 surround sound headset, Elder Scrolls Online mousepad, and a one year Pro subscription to Quake Live.
Round 3 opens on April 2 at 8 pm Eastern. This $50 package is limited to 1,250 spots and includes reserved and assigned BYOC seating, a BYOC t-shirt, and a lanyard.
Finally, the Swag Pack package opens on April 16 at 8 pm Eastern. This includes the QuakeCon t-shirt, two other limited edition t-shirts, poster, The Evil Within bag, the Logitech headset, the Elder Scrolls mousepad, and the one-year Quake Live subscription.
This year’s event will take place in Dallas, Texas from Thursday, July 17 through Sunday July 20. Registration will happen on the official QuakeCon website.
Our Take
This is a big year for Bethesda, especially with the announcement of a Doom beta. There are usually exciting announcements coming out of QuakeCon, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we learn more about Doom there.
