BioWare Offering The Chance For Your Voice To Appear In Dragon Age: Inquisition

by Kyle Hilliard on Feb 25, 2014 at 01:59 PM

BioWare announced a contest today that gives Dragon Age fans the opportunity to voice a character in Inquisition.

You can check out a video below presented by BioWare and Dragon Age community manager Jessica Merizan for all the details on the contest/casting call. Basically, BioWare provides a script, you record a video of yourself reading that script, and then BioWare will choose a winner to fly out to one of its studios to record some dialogue that will appear in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Once you've got your video uploaded to the Internet, all you need to to do is sent it to takeyourplace@BioWare.com.

For more on the contest (including access to the necessary scripts), head here. The contest begins taking entries today and ends on March 24.

Our Take
This is a pretty cool contest, with a much more interesting prize than the normal fare for these kind of giveaways. I'm curious what role this outsourced voice actor will play in the game. I assume the scripts don't represent the role the winner will be playing.
