PlayStation Store Sales Start Tomorrow, Extend Through March 3rd

by Shin Hieftje on Feb 24, 2014 at 12:14 PM

In light of the two year anniversary of the PlayStation Vita’s release, Sony has decided to celebrate through promotion. Starting tomorrow, it’s slashing prices on many of the titles in its online store.

The PlayStation Vita Anniversary Sale runs through March 3 and features many games at half of their normal cost. PlayStation Plus members can get the games at up to 75% off. Notable games you may have heard of and haven’t played include Hotline Miami, Flower, Machinarium, and Escape Plan, among others.

Also beginning tomorrow is Sony’s Back to 2013 Sale, which includes sales of some notable releases of 2013, including Spelunky, Terraria, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Rayman Legends, Season Passes for The Walking Dead: Season 2 and The Wolf Among Us, and more. This sale also ends on March 3.

Our Take
While there's nothing that screams out as a insane bargain in these sales, there are a lot of nice discounts for some very solid games. I will likely browse the Back to 2013 Sale and eye my wallet with trepidation. Will you plunk down some dough for anything you see? Or are you still too busy going through your backlog of quality games?
