We don’t know what it is or when it’s coming, but a new Tony Hawk game is in the works. The skateboarding icon mentioned the news first on his Sirius XM radio show, saying only that he’s working on a game.
IGN reported and confirmed the news with Activision, who would say only that it is working on something Hawk. The last Tony Hawk title released was the Robomodo developed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, a compilation of the first two PlayStation 1 titles.

Our Take
Given the wide quality spectrum of the Tony Hawk titles, I’m withholding my optimism. Without platform information, we don’t know if this is a retail PC and console release, smaller downloadable title, or mobile game. It’s far too early to know if more Tony Hawk is a good thing.
