Every month, millions of users flock to Twitch to watch people play video games. Thanks to a crafty Twitch user, viewers can get in on the fun via a playthrough of Pokémon Red/Blue that allows chatroom guests to control Nintendo's classic monster-catching sim.

By typing commands (e.g. "a, b, left, up," etc.) in the chatroom window, Twitch viewers can control each action the computer performs next. The results have been an entertaining mess, as users have been constantly spamming the window with contradictory commands. So far viewers have been playing for 45 hours and haven't made much progress. However, the stream has been viewed 230,000 times, so I'd call the experiment a success.

Head over to Twitch to watch the stream.
