Incredibly Rare Game In Terrible Shape Reappears On eBay
This weekend, a difficult to come by Nintendo World Championship NES cart went for nearly $100,000 on eBay. That cart has been re-posted on eBay after the buyer backed out of the sale.
After 328 bids, the game was won for a $99,902 bid. Unfortunately, that bidder backed out of the sale, as well as five or so other bidders who received second chance offers. The seller of the cart, Stephen a.k.a. muresan on eBay, decided to relist the item with a steep buy-it-now price of $65,000 while still accepting offers. This way, he can avoid buyers attempting to purchase the game without true intention to buy.
