Insomniac Continues To Raise Money For Injured Artist With Signed Xbox One

by Kyle Hilliard on Jan 10, 2014 at 06:45 AM

Last year, Insomniac Games intern Ana Kessel was involved in a hit and run accident, and the developer has posted an autographed Xbox One on eBay to help continue donation efforts towards Kessel's recovery.

Kessel was hit by an unlicensed driver who fled the scene following the incident in November. Her leg had to be amputated following the accident and she is still in the process of recovery. A gofundme page was opened to help raise money for her medical bills (which you can donate to here), and nearby studio Epic Games auctioned off some Gears of War memorabilia to help donate.

Kessel still has a ways to go to meet her funding goal to cover her bills, and Insomniac has an autographed Xbox One with a few games up for auction on eBay whose proceeds will go towards helping her. The auction has nine days to go and is currently at $1,025 with 39 bids. You can head here if you'd like to try to win the consols yourself.

Our thoughts continue to go out to Ana Kessel and her loved ones, as well as those at Insomniac Games. We hope she is able to make a recovery soon, and wish luck to all of her fundraising efforts.
