The Witcher Adventure Game Announced
Gamers are eagerly anticipating the arrival of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from CD Projekt Red. However, the studio has also secretly been at work on another game starring Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher Adventure Game is a tabletop board game being co-published by CD Project Red and Fantasy Flight Games.
The new game comes from acclaimed board game designer Ignacy Trzewiczek, and stars some of the familiar faces from The Witcher franchise, including Geralt, Triss Merigold, Dandelion, and Yarpen Zigrin.

I think this is awesome news for fans of The Witcher franchise, as the new board game offers another way to explore Geralt’s fiction. I had the chance to play a round of the board game for our recent magazine article, and its elegant design and beautiful art make it worth looking forward to. Moreover, CD Project Red’s cooperation with Fantasy Flight assures that they have a capable partner that’s already familiar with the task of rolling out a high quality board game.
