Report: Halo 4 Art Director Changes Roles Within 343 Industries

by Kyle Hilliard on Jan 08, 2014 at 01:44 PM

Kenneth Scott, who served the role of art director on Halo 4 recently announced a change in positions at 343 Industries.

Scott is now a visual design consultant with 343 Industries, while Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier has taken Scott's former position as art director.

Speaking with IGN, a representative for Microsoft says Scott changed his role in order to spend more time with his family. If you're interested in check out some of Bouvier's work, you can check out his blog.

The next Halo, which doesn't have an official title yet, is still planned for release this year.

Our Take
It's unclear how Scott's change of title will affect the visual direction of 343 Industries' upcoming games, but Bouvier certainly seems to know what he's doing if his blog is any indication. Halo's future is somewhat vague right now (we don't even know what the next game will be called), but as a fan of the series I am excited to find out what's in store.
