Reader Discussion: What Games Surprised You In 2013?
The big news of 2013 is the launch of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but things were far from dormant on the software side of things. We saw highly anticipated titles like Bioshock Infinite, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Last of Us live up to high expectations, but there were some others that managed to surprise us with their level of quality.
I expected The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds to be a great nod to the past, but I never thought it would be so good that I'd give it my first 10 score. I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed the new Tomb Raider, considering I had never been a fan of the series previously.
