Yogscast Charity Drive Offering 11 Games For $25

by Mike Futter on Dec 26, 2013 at 04:12 AM

Popular YouTube network Yogscast has partnered up with Humble Bundle for one of biggest deals of 2013. If you’re watching the Steam holiday sale each day, make sure you check out this amazing deal before all your money disappears.

The team is live streaming for charity, and this year’s partnership with Humble Bundle means that you’ll get something in return for your contribution. A number of developers have shared their wares, allowing Humble Bundle and Yogscast to build a collection of eleven games and three in-game items. Contributions will support five charities: Oxfam, SpecialEffect, Little People UK, GamesAid, and War Child (allocated by the donor).

Everyone that donates at least $5 will get a Team Fortress 2 “Heart of Gold” cosmetic item. At $25 and greater, the following items become available:

  • Awesomenauts
  • The Chaos Engine
  • Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
  • Garry’s Mod
  • Magicka: Wizard Wars (Early Access)
  • Napoleon: Total War
  • Rust
  • Sanctum Collection
  • Shank 2
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
  • Torchlight

These are the in-game items that are included:

  • War of the Vikings Yogscast hat
  • Awesomenauts Honeydew skin of Skølldir

The bundle is valued at $265. All of the items are unlockable via Steam, so you will need an account for Valve’s service. You can check out the Humble Bundle here, the Yogscast Dwarven Dairy Drive live stream, and learn more about the Yogscast network on the group’s website.

Our Take
Charity shouldn’t require an incentive like this, but offering one is no doubt going to increase participation. This bundle is absolutely stellar, and if you’ve got $25 to spare, it’s well worth your money.
