Killzone: Shadow Fall Multiplayer Free This Weekend For PlayStation Plus Members
Did you get a shiny new PlayStation 4 for the holidays this year, but don’t know what games to purchase? Sony is giving you a test drive of Killzone: Shadow Fall this weekend.
You can begin pre-loading the title right now for the free weekend, which will take place from December 28 through December 31. A patch has been implemented recently that fixes some of the game’s problems and adds voice chat, which was previously restricted to parties.
Note that pre-loading the game will also download the single-player campaign. If you decide to purchase Killzone: Shadow Fall, you’ll be all set, but you won’t have access to the solo experience during the free weekend. Want to learn more? Check out our review.

Our Take
I’ve enjoyed Killzone’s multiplayer since Killzone 2, and especially the Warzone mode. This is an objective-based team mode with random missions that roll out in phases during the match. You’ll be moving from capture the flag to VIP defense to all-out combat fluidly, and it keeps things very interesting. If you have a PS4 and you’re on the fence about Killzone, be sure to give this a try.
