Ever since, 1986’s Transformers movie, Stan Bush’s The Touch has been synonymous with the conflicting feelings of Optimus Prime’s death and Hot Rod’s ascension to leadership. The song was featured at the end of High Moon Studios’ Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, but now Bush has created something new with his old standard.

This new version of The Touch, called the “Power Mix,” is set against the backdrop of Fall of Cybertron’s stunning, fan service-filled cutscenes. Watching Metroplex come to life, the liftoff of the Ark, and Grimlock roaring in anger remind us that a third entry in the series would be right at home on next-gen consoles.
