Double Dragon Now Available On Wii U And 3DS Virtual Console
Double Dragon, the 1988 beat 'em up classic, is now available to download on the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console.
You can download the game right now on Wii U for $4.99 (or $1.00 if you own the Wii Virtual Console version of the game) or $4.99 on the 3DS. You can check out the trailer announcing the game's availability below.
Our Take
Nintendo is still trickling these games out at a surprisingly slow place. There have been some real missed opportunities. Why wasn't a Wii U or 3DS Virtual Console version of A Link to the Past available prior to the release of a Link Between Worlds? I would have loved to spend some time with that game on my Wii U GamePad before diving into its sort-of sequel on 3DS.
