[UPDATE] Destiny Beta Code Giveaway #4

by Matt Miller on Dec 13, 2013 at 09:35 AM

Update: The final 25 winners have been sent Destiny beta codes through messaging. Thank you for participating and commenting over the past two weeks!

We’re spending the entire month rolling out info about Bungie’s big new project. Destiny has the core sensibilities of a shooter, but draws on other genres like MMOs and RPGs to create a game players can stay invested in for a long time. Part of the way Bungie hopes to keep players engaged is with the breadth of locations you’ll visit in this science-fiction adventure. Tell us where you want to visit, and we’ll randomly select 25 respondents to receive a free beta code for Destiny. Codes will be sent out on Friday, December 13th.

In Destiny, the entire solar system is fair game for exploration. Bungie has already confirmed several places your guardian visits. Venus is a tempestuous land of mysterious jungles and stormy seas. Mars is a sandy red desert that hides the remnants of an ancient human metropolis. Earth’s Moon has been cracked and infested with the labyrinthine tunnels of the Hive. And Earth itself takes players to the ruins of Old Russia, where mankind first launched into space, as well as the last city on Earth and the tower home of the guardians.

Which world or moon are you hoping to visit first? Or are you hoping to visit a different location in the solar system that hasn’t yet been announced? Let us know in the comments below.

If you receive a code, you’ll need to head to Bungie redemption page. And if you don’t already have one, you’ll need to sign up for a Bungie account. Then just input your code to lock your slot in the beta. NOTE: Your code is not platform specific. Testers will be able to choose which platform to play on as we get closer to beta launch.
