Your Xbox One Is Black, But Microsoft Employees Get This Gorgeous White One
Yesterday, Xbox Live operations manager Eric Neustadter showed off what Xbox One team employees will be playing their launch software on. Regardless of whether you have a Day One edition or one of the regular units, your Xbox One is going to be black. Employees get something special.
The Xbox One and controller are emblazoned with the words “I Made This” and “Launch Team 2013.” A console from this very limited run was sold on eBay for $11,300 in support of the Wounded Warrior Project.
Here’s hoping this becomes a color option in the future for the rest of us. The Xbox One does look pretty in white.

Launch gifts like this are a great way to reward the team for its hard work. Making them special with the inscription and the unique color will no doubt make these as valuable in sentiment as they are in cash.
