You might recall that EA’s annual racing series, Need for Speed, is getting a feature-length film. The Aaron Paul vehicle is slated for a March 2014 release, and today there’s a new trailer.
The movie casts Paul as Tobey Marshall, recently out of jail for a crime he didn’t commit. The story is a revenge tale set behind the wheel of extremely fast cars.

Our Take
Video game movies are often big, dumb fun. Need for Speed looks like it will follow the rule rather than exist as an exception to it. It might not sure anything in common with the games except its name, but as long as the cars go fast and the takedowns are brutal, I’m in.
