Mortal Kombat Producer Announces Departure From NetherRealm Studios
Hector Sanchez, a producer at NetherRealm Studios, announced his departure from the developer on Twitter earlier this week.
Sanchez served producing roles on the most recent Mortal Kombat, as well as Injustice: Gods Among Us. In his tweet announcing his leaving, Sanchez said his time with NetherRealm has been amazing, and he is moving onto another adventure.
After many years, today is my last day here @MK_NetherRealm as I move on to another adventure. It's been an absolutely AMAZING experience.

Our Take
Sanchez has done well with NetherRealm as the most recent Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us were both very well received. I'm curious if he will continue to work on fighting games, or if his new adventure will will take him into a new genre. Or maybe he's leaving video games altogether. We'll have to wait and see.
