Microsoft has recently extended its free Games with Gold program indefinitely for the Xbox 360. Now we know when Xbox One users will get the same benefit.
A tweet from Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb reveals as much detail as we’re getting for now.
We’re looking forward to seeing if the program stays the course over the next few months, or if Microsoft will revamp it to align more closely with Sony and PlayStation Plus.

Our Take
Free games are great, but Microsoft’s Games with Gold offerings have been from deep in the back catalog. It would be great to see some more recent titles and a bit more flexibility on the length of availability. Either way, knowing that there will be titles handed out on the Xbox One is great news.
