Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced today Rayman Legends’ upcoming arrival to next-gen hardware, stressing his confidence in Ubisoft to release the game in February 2014.

Rayman Legends is available now on the Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The platformer received a glowing review from us back in September and it’s good to hear the game will be available on PS4 and Xbox One consoles come February.

Our Take:
Back in September, Ubisoft’s executive director Alain Corre said not to rule out the possibility of Rayman Legends coming to the 3DS. Now the game has been confirmed to release on the PS4 and Xbox One. As a fan of the game, I’m delighted to see a great game available on next-gen consoles. Gamers who have been saving up for next-gen and missed Rayman Legends will have a chance to pick up this hilarious platformer.
