Blizzard Announces World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor Expansion
World of Warcraft is expanding again. The next content update, Warlords of Draenor (hinted at in an earlier trademark filing), will return the wildly popular MMO to its roots. According to senior vice president of story and franchise development Chris Metzen, the new expansion is designed to recapture the spirit of the original titles as the Alliance struggled for survival against the Horde.
Warlords of Draenor will raise the level cap to 100, introduce new character models, and bring a garrison building mechanic to the MMO. There will be more new World of Warcraft news and detail on the new expansion as BlizzCon continues.
