On N7 Day, BioWare Thanks Mass Effect Players With Video Tribute

by Mike Trinh on Nov 07, 2013 at 09:27 AM

November 7, or N7 Day, is a day to celebrate everything Mass Effect. This year, BioWare is treating its fans with a thank-you video featuring several voice actors from the series, including Mark Meer (male Shepard), Jennifer Hale (female Shepard) and Ali Hillis (Liara).

In the videos, the actors tribute the many hours than fans have put into the series as well as the wonderful fan art and intricate cosplay outfits they've created. The first Mass Effect released almost six years ago.

Mass Effect players might remember that N7 is the highest combat designation the human military can bestow. Commander Shepard is an N7 soldier, hence the significance of November 7. Starting now, BioWare developers are playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer with fans and running a livestream. Mass Effect collectibles will be on sale today as well. More details can be found on the BioWare blog

Watch the video below. Be cautious, however, as there are a couple of spoilers for those who haven't finished the series. Also, check out our coverage of last year's N7 Day. How will you celebrate this N7 Day? Tell us in the comments.

Our Take
As a huge fan of all of the Mass Effect games, I am happy that BioWare is continuing to show their appreciation of the community. This video gave me goosebumps and makes me want to jump back into the Normandy one more time. I think I'll try to find some BioWare developers in the multiplayer today.
