The Walking Dead: Season Two Coming Later This Year
Telltale Games has officially announced The Walking Dead’s second season. Clementine’s story will continue later this year, in a new, five-episode season.
This time out, Clementine is under players’ control as she makes her way through the destroyed world. Season two is available for pre-order now on PC/Mac for 10 percent off the $24.99 price ($22.49). It will also be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and iOS.
Telltale Games has also announced a Game of the Year edition for the first season. The package will be available at retail in November, and it will include the original five-episode season, the 400 Days DLC, the original score, and behind-the-scenes video. This edition will be available for $29.99.
Our Take
Telltale is being very ambitious. Running The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Wolf Among Us concurrently will no doubt make the studio’s fans very happy. I’m looking forward to playing each of these games' staggered releases, as it will make the gaps between episodes so much less painful.
